Note: Relatively slow and wide CME seen to the south in SOHO LASCO imagery and southeast in STEREO A COR2. Very similar in appearance to the far-sided 2024-12-11T12:12Z CME, there are a few sources on the Earth-facing disk including an eruption on the western portion of the disk, but triangulation strongly suggests this event is far-sided. No candidate sources for this CME were observed in EUV imagery. The CME is quite difficult to measure in LASCO C2 with the CME off the southeast (CME: 2024-12-11T06:24Z) obscuring the CME in question (more evidence this is far-sided).

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Two spacecraft leading edge measurement using triangulation with difficulty seeing the CME leading edge in SOHO LASCO C2 due to an obscuring CME in front of the CME in question; GONG data supports the eruption coming from a far-sided source with this approximate longitude. |
